Live AI-led classes. Curriculum-perfect. A personal coach for every child. Built for homeschooled families across Australia — and free for those who need it most.
Across Australia, families are choosing homeschooling in record numbers — for reasons ranging from anxiety and bullying to remote location, gifted education, and family flexibility. But the infrastructure to support them is decades behind.
I'm working two jobs. I can't also be Year 5 maths teacher every afternoon.
My daughter has no classmates. We do all her schoolwork — but she's lonely.
NESA paperwork takes me three weekends every year. I dread it.
Not a content library. Not flashcards. A real school day, with real classmates, real structure — all delivered by AI teachers that adapt to how your child learns, supported by a personal coach who stays with them for years.
Maya for maths. Nova for science. Leo for English. Each one is named, voiced, animated, and persistent — they remember every conversation, every struggle, every win, year after year.
Real scheduled lessons. Your child arrives at 09:30 like everyone else in their class. Raises their hand. Asks a question — and other students hear it. Missed a class? It's recorded and on-demand.
Every child gets their own coach who checks in daily, tracks their mood, helps set goals, notices when something's off, and stays with them across every year. The motivation of a great mentor — available 24/7.
Continuous, gentle assessment baked into every lesson. Full mock exams when they're ready — formatted to your state's standards (HSC, VCE, SACE, WACE). AI-marked, with examiner-quality written feedback.
Your child is in Class 7B with the same 22 classmates all year. Debate club. Chess club. Science fairs. Inter-school competitions. Guest speakers. Real friendships — fully moderated, designed to be safe.
Every lesson is mapped to your state's syllabus codes. Annual NESA/VCAA reports generate themselves. Work samples archive automatically. Your registration audit becomes a download.
Structure with flexibility. Your child has a timetable like any school — but if they're sick, traveling, or having a tough morning, every lesson is also on-demand.
Tuesday morning, Year 7 NSW. Sample schedule for an enrolled student.
EduAI was designed with these families in mind — but anyone can enrol.
Parents who've chosen to homeschool but can't be full-time teachers. Working parents, single parents, parents juggling multiple children — EduAI does the educating so you don't have to.
Long bus rides, small local schools with limited subject options, or simply no nearby school at all. Low-bandwidth mode means it works even with slow internet.
School anxiety. Medical conditions. Neurodiversity. Bullying recovery. EduAI provides a real school experience without the parts that didn't work for your child.
Mainstream curriculum holding your child back? AI teachers adapt pace automatically, surfacing extension and enrichment content as your child is ready for it.
Caravan life, working abroad, mid-year relocations. School continues from anywhere with internet — or download lessons offline before you leave.
Already in a traditional school but want more — a specific subject taught well, exam prep coaching, or extra support. Use EduAI alongside your regular schooling.
Each AI teacher has a name, a voice, a teaching style, and a personality. Your child gets to know them across years of learning — just like in a great school.
"Calm and methodical. Loves a good visual analogy."
"Warm storyteller. Makes Shakespeare feel like gossip."
"Curious and excitable. Lives for 'what if?' questions."
"Storyteller of time. Connects yesterday to today."
"Expressive and warm. Believes every child is creative."
"Energetic and holistic. Mind, body, motivation."
"Patient and cultural. Makes vocabulary feel like a game."
"Always there. Knows your child. Never gives up on them."
There are lots of great tools out there. None of them are a school. Here's how the homeschool tooling landscape compares — and what makes EduAI different.

Every design choice — every interaction, every piece of data, every moderation policy — starts with one question: is this safe for the child?
EduAI is built to meet — and where possible exceed — the regulatory frameworks that protect children online and ensure quality education in Australia.
Launch with full coverage of all 8 Australian states and territories. Then New Zealand. Then the UK. Then the world — each market with its own curriculum framework, its own language, its own teachers.
Each new country launches with full curriculum compliance, native-language delivery, and culturally-resonant AI teachers — not a translation, but a real local school.
Every child — whether free or paying — gets the same teachers, the same classes, the same coach, the same events. No academic gating, ever. Tiers exist only to fund the free places.
"Three weekends a year doing NESA paperwork. I knew there had to be a better way — not just for me, but for every family who chose this path."
I started homeschooling reluctantly. My eldest had school-based anxiety so severe she'd be physically sick before the morning bell. We tried everything — schools, counselling, medication — and nothing worked.
So we pulled her out. And what followed was three years of me, a former software engineer, trying to be everything: teacher, counsellor, social organiser, paperwork-filer. I'd come home from work and start lesson plans. I missed friends. I missed sleep. And I knew thousands of other parents were doing the same thing.
EduAI is built for the parent I was. The one drowning in paperwork. The one who didn't have a maths degree but had to teach maths anyway. The one who wished there was a real school for homeschooled kids — not just an app, not just videos, but a place with structure, with friends, with people who actually knew their child.
And it's built for the families who can't afford private tutoring or specialist support. That's why the free tier is the heart of this project — not a marketing tactic, but the actual reason it exists.
If your question isn't here, our team is one click away.
EduAI is structured like a real school: scheduled live classes, fixed class groups, a real timetable, classmates who learn together for the full year, weekly events, term reports. Your child arrives at class at 09:30, raises their hand, asks questions out loud. The difference is the teachers are AI — animated, voiced, personalised. We are not, however, a registered educational institution in the formal sense (yet), which means parents still need to register their child as a homeschooler with their state body. We make that paperwork effortless.
The free tier is fully funded by paying subscribers and our founder's commitment to keeping it that way. There are no ads in the free tier. There are no reduced features. There's no time limit. Free students get the same teachers, the same coach, the same classes, the same compliance reports as paying students. Eligibility is honour-based — if you say you need it, you have it. We use corporate sponsorships and ongoing subscriber funding to keep places open.
Yes — that's a core design goal. EduAI's curriculum is fully mapped to each state's syllabus, including senior secondary frameworks. We run mock exams in the actual format your child will sit (HSC essay structure, VCE multiple choice patterns, etc.), with AI examiner-style feedback. Sitting the formal exam itself still happens through your state's authority, but your child arrives prepared. Many of our senior students enrol with us specifically for exam prep.
Every live class is recorded and available on-demand. Your child can watch the replay, see the class chat, hear the questions their classmates asked, and complete their personalised practice. Their coach will help them catch up. We do encourage live attendance for the social benefit and routine — but real life happens, and we've designed for it. Travel, illness, family events: never a problem.
EduAI was built with neurodiverse learners in mind from day one. Accessibility features include: dyslexia-friendly fonts (OpenDyslexic), adjustable reading levels, audio-only lesson mode, full screen reader support, low-stimulation UI mode, captions on everything, customisable pacing, and learning style adaptation. The coach is particularly valuable here — they spot when your child is overwhelmed and adjust the day's rhythm. Many of our students have IEPs (Individual Education Plans) which we map into the platform during onboarding.
Safety isn't a feature — it's the foundation. No direct messages between students. All social interactions moderated by AI in real time, with human safeguarding staff for escalation. All staff hold WWCC (Working with Children Checks). Mandatory reporter training across the team. Australian data sovereignty — your child's data stays in Australia and is never sold. Parental visibility and control across the entire platform. We also work with eSafety Australia and child welfare organisations on continuous platform review.
No. This is a core design principle. EduAI is built for busy parents — single parents, working parents, parents managing multiple children or their own health. You don't need to plan lessons, mark work, run revision, or sit alongside your child. The AI teachers teach, the coach motivates, and your parent dashboard updates automatically. You'll typically open the dashboard once a week, read the digest, and continue with your day. We'll always notify you if there's something that needs your attention.
EduAI runs in any modern web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and has native apps for iOS, iPadOS, and Android. We've built specifically for low-spec devices — old Chromebooks, basic tablets, hand-me-down laptops are all fine. For low-bandwidth situations (rural areas, satellite internet), our Low Bandwidth Mode uses static avatars with mouth movement, voice, and captions instead of full animation — same learning, just lighter. Lessons can also be pre-downloaded for genuinely offline learning.
Yes — monthly plans cancel anytime, no questions asked. Annual plans (which give you two months free) can be cancelled with pro-rata refund within the first 30 days. After cancellation, you can export all your child's work, compliance records, and portfolio to keep forever. You can also switch to the free tier rather than cancelling outright, so your child doesn't lose their classmates and coach.
Enrolments open at the start of each term — but rolling enrolments are accepted in the first two weeks of every term, and any student can start the free tier immediately for orientation, onboarding, and the Learning Profile Assessment. Term 3 2026 opens July 2026. Mid-term joins are possible in special circumstances (medical, relocation, etc.) — talk to our team.
From tomorrow morning. With friends. With a coach. With a curriculum your state recognises.
